South African National Blood Service — tangentially relevant to cannabis therapy only via donor-eligibility rules.
SANBS is the national blood service of South Africa. Patients on medical cannabis therapy may encounter SANBS donor-eligibility rules: regular cannabis use does not automatically disqualify blood donation, but current Section 21 cannabinoid treatment should be disclosed to the donor-screening clinician so that medication-class risk can be assessed.
