Multiple Patient Application (MPA)
A Section 21 application grouping several patients with the same indication and product.
An MPA bundles multiple patients with the same indication and the same product under a single SAHPRA submission. MPAs reduce administrative overhead when a doctor has many eligible patients — for example, chronic-pain patients all on the same balanced THC:CBD oil. Each patient still requires clinical assessment and documentation; the MPA is an efficiency mechanism for the application filing, not a substitute for per-patient review.
